10 January 2011, 21:00 - Bath Positive Living Group - "Ancient Sweden"
In the late seventeen hundreds, Stone-Killer Robinson would go out on a Sunday to do his good Christian duty by destroying one of the massive stones at Avebury. Some other countries on the Continent were a bit more lucky. Sweden has a number of ancient monuments that can be visited, but many - especially the labyrinths - might need a good power boat to get there. Even though they weren't so purposely destroyed, up until fairly recently, modern Sweden has done a good job of cutting their people from their pre-Christian roots but basically by ignoring them. They primarily obliterated pagan memories, so many of their physical ancient monuments still exist. Sig will show various examples from ship settings (vesica-shaped stone 'rings"), stone rows, burial mounds , tings (that's British for "moots"). Also, there are more old labyrinths in Scandinavia than anywhere else on our planet. The Vikings made them, and up until the beginning of the last century, fishermen walked them for a good wind and a good catch.
You will also see some Viking finds on the Isle of Man and compare them with similar remains in Sweden. It is exciting to be in Sweden at a time when their people are waking up to their prehistoric past and just beginning to remember.
Dowsing, geomancy, labyrinths, and archaeoastronomy

Dowsing: Where Have We Been,
But more importantly,
Where Might We Be Going
In the Twenty-First Century?
Over the past forty years, many dowsers have dowsed at lots of sacred sites, and gathered all kinds of information about them. We now gnow from direct experience that these Energies are real. So now that we gnow this, so what? How can I benefit and grow from this awareness? This is the challenge to 21st century dowsers.
